My Top 10 ChatGPT Prompts That Changed the Way I Work

My Top 10 ChatGPT Prompts That Changed the Way I Work

By Muhammad Qasim Zia – Founder, Tech Malang

Over the last few months, I’ve explored and built multiple AI-powered systems, product ideas, and creative projects — from automating Facebook content to designing SaaS platforms, from narrating historical tales to building VR concepts. And at the heart of this journey has been my collaboration with ChatGPT.

But not every prompt is equal. Some are just better — sharper, more strategic, and incredibly productive. In this post, I’m sharing the top 10 prompts that delivered outsized impact in my workflow, idea generation, and execution.

1. “Help me build a system where ChatGPT generates daily content for Facebook, designs it on Canva, and then schedules it through a post scheduler — all tracked inside Notion.”

This was the foundation of my content automation framework — a smart system where AI powers ideation, design, and scheduling, while Notion keeps everything organized. It turned my pages like Bang Bang Facts into highly productive content machines.

Why it worked: It combined planning, AI integration, and automation into a single, clear prompt. The result? A scalable content production pipeline.

2. “Give me a step-by-step plan to launch a fashion brand called QAFLA that blends South Asian heritage with modern aesthetics.”

This prompt helped me lay out the brand strategy, product direction, and marketing plan for QAFLA — my contemporary fashion venture. From Shopify setup to visual identity, it gave me clarity.

Why it worked: It was specific, brand-focused, and connected creativity with commercial goals.

3. “Create a prompt system for a YouTube automation tool that generates AI-made reels using trending stories with a storytelling style for Gen Alpha.”

This one powered my viral content strategy. It helped shape the identity of my page Bang Bang Facts by aligning audience psychology, story formats, and platform mechanics.

Why it worked: It leaned into both virality and structure — two crucial elements for consistent traction.

4. “Help me build a platform that converts text into AI-generated short videos using stock footage, music, and visuals — and deliver the script, media, and final render.”

This prompt became the backbone of an upcoming product idea — a reels-generation SaaS. From defining tech stack to prompt engineering, it became an AI-powered creative studio.

Why it worked: It had a builder’s mindset — outcome-focused and aligned with product thinking.

5. “Write a story-based reel script for my page using the format: ‘Do you know...’ and target the U.S. Gen Z audience using a mix of emotion, suspense, and facts.”

This helped refine my storytelling voice for short-form content — especially when targeting an emotionally engaged audience like Gen Z.

Why it worked: It gave structure to creativity. The prompt guided tone, audience, and format without being rigid.

6. “Design a LinkedIn carousel post in Canva format based on the six modern world mindsets, including title structure, thumbnail tags, and editable text.”

From concept to visual layout, this prompt produced a post that blended insight with shareability. A great example of turning abstract thinking into concrete content.

Why it worked: It bridged philosophy and personal branding in a polished format.

7. “Help me conceptualize and visually design a VR cycling startup where the rider stays stationary on a platform while the VR experience changes environments.”

A unique product vision came to life here. With one prompt, I was able to turn an idea into a hardware/software concept ready for pitching.

Why it worked: The prompt was visionary, but also asked for mechanical feasibility — making the output practical.

8. “Give me an optimized boilerplate with full code and setup steps for a project using Next.js and Supabase with Google Auth and a streaming dashboard.”

This was used to rapidly scaffold a serious product — Streamify — and helped me implement clean, production-ready code with authentication and user dashboards.

Why it worked: The prompt was clear, code-focused, and integrated real dev requirements.

9. “From all my previous chats, extract my thinking style and work behavior. Describe me like a tech founder introspecting his path.”

It helped me understand my own creative patterns, strengths, and blind spots. This was more than content — it was a tool for self-awareness.

Why it worked: Introspective prompts reveal hidden patterns. When structured well, they become strategic.

10. “Generate a prompt system that allows me to write a historical fantasy screenplay scene-by-scene, generate images for each scene, and form a storyline with character consistency.”

This fueled one of my most creative projects — visualizing Persian fantasy stories in Pixar-style art with complete narrative flow.

Why it worked: It merged storytelling, prompt chaining, image generation, and screenplay development into one artistic workflow.

Final Thoughts

Prompts are not just commands — they are interfaces to thought. The better you write them, the more power you unlock. These 10 changed the way I work, create, and build. My hope is that they inspire you to think deeper, build smarter, and create faster.

If you’re building anything with AI, automation, or content — start with better prompts.
